My enduring memory of Uncle Dick will be his never ending sense of humour, throughout my childhood and into later years whenever he visited or we chatted on the phone, he would always have me laughing, giggling or just grinning from ear to ear. His shaggy dog stories, jokes or one liners were oft repeated but never failed to hit the funny bone! Rest peacefully, Uncle Dick, sail on calm seas forever.
